Not that kind of peace. Everyone around the world wants peace and love and the end of wars and all those other cliched words. Even Pope Francis wished for peace at the start of 2020. Unfortunately, since people are sinful and evil, we will always have war.
I’m talking about personal, internal peace. Shalom. Tranquility. Harmony. Completeness. Sometimes it feels like that’s as difficult to achieve as world peace.
Life is overwhelming. Peace comes from understanding who God is and putting our faith in Him. In 2020 I want to do a much better job of trusting Him to give me the internal peace that only He can provide.
May the Lord himself, who is our source of peace, give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with you all.
