Every once in awhile, I watch a few YouTube videos that ask people some basic knowledge questions. Gen Z seems to be a favorite of the YouTubers. Here are some questions/answers that were asked recently.
How many states are there? – 52 – 53 – 54
How many stars are on the American flag? – 52
Who’s picture is the on $1 bill? – Abraham Lincoln
What state is Missouri in? – London
What state is Utah in? – Michigan. – I never heard of that place in my life.
What country does the Queen of England live in? – What’s a country? – Canada.
What year was it 100 years ago? – 1905
What year were the 2012 Olympics held? – 2000
If you got $1 every day of the year, how much would you have at the end of the year? – You can’t be sure because every month is different. – $1,500.
If you make $10,000 per month, how much would you have at the end of the year? – $300,000.
What country did America get its independence from? – France.
What state is under North Dakota? – Canada.
How many dimes are in a dollar? – Is a dime the 5 cent or the 10 cent? –
Who fought in the American Civil War? – France and the British. They’re the same thing, right?
What country is the Panama Canal in? – Five didn’t know. One said Brazil. One said, “I did a report on the Panama Canal, and it’s in Mexico.”
What is 9+9+9? – 21
The same girl was asked, what is 7+7+7? – She said that’s also 21.
