I enjoy the insights offered by Victor Davis Hanson on YouTube and would like to summarize his comments from a recent video.

We now know that the Wall Street Journal and New York Times knew about Biden’s dementia from early in his presidency. 

The Wall Street Journal recently published a detailed report on a White House that has been functioning with a “diminished” Biden at the helm since as early as 2021. The conclusion is Biden was mentally and physically unfit to serve as president.

The report, citing numerous sources, including Democratic lawmakers and former Biden staffers, said limits were placed on who Biden spoke with, what the president’s team said to him, and the types of information he received.

“White House aides covered up President Biden’s apparent mental decline from Day 1 of his presidency, shielding the aging commander-in-chief from the public and even rearranging his schedule after scatterbrained performances…Rather than meeting with Biden (who held nine cabinet meetings in four years), cabinet members typically met with the president’s advisers, including national security adviser Jake Sullivan and economic adviser Lee Brainard, the outlet reported.” MSN

Mediaite and the Wall Street Journal report that former National Institutes of Health director Francis Collins admitted to having a “narrow, really unfortunate” mindset during the Covid-19 pandemic that prevented him and other public health officials from considering the potential collateral damage of their decisions regarding COVID. The lockdown was not a good idea. It almost destroyed the middle class, kept kids out of school, many of whom will never recover, and led to missed cancer screenings, spousal abuse, drug and alcohol abuse, and suicides. Lockdowns shut down our society for no reason.

Many of the attacks on Justice Brett Kavanaugh were made by journalist David Enrich. We now know that much of what Enrich wrote was fabricated. The events of January 6 were highly sensationalized. The New York Post reported that the FBI had at least 26 confidential informants on the ground in Washington, DC, during the Jan. 6, 2021 storming of the Capitol. Most of them engaged in illegal activity during the chaos.

Perhaps the media and individuals who kept quiet during the Biden presidency realize that they may now face retribution from the Trump administration for their unethical, and in some cases, illegal actions.
