We seem to be controlled by a congress that wields the powers of impeachment like a big stick.
Bill Clinton – On December 19, 1998, two articles of impeachment were approved by the House, charging Clinton with perjury and obstruction of justice.
Donald Trump – On December 10, 2019, the Judiciary Committee approved two articles of impeachment (H.Res. 755): abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
Donald Trump – On January 13, 2021, the House voted to impeach Trump for “Incitement of Insurrection”.
Joseph Biden – On August 12, 2023, four articles of impeachment were filed by Greg Steube: four articles alleging high crimes and misdemeanors by Biden.
It may be noted that less than one-third of voters believe President Biden is innocent of allegations connected to a “bribery scheme” involving foreign payments.
