Give Me A Minute – Climate Change. Really?

Do you believe what you read and hear about “climate change?” I don’t. I think it’s part of the Great Reset, the name of the 50th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), held in Davos, Switzerland in June 2020. Convened by Charles, Prince of Wales, and the WEF, it brought together high-profile business and political leaders. The main theme was to “seize upon the global crisis to rebuild society and the economy following the COVID-19 pandemic.”

The Great Reset is about;

  • an economic reset,
  • a societal reset detailing the return of “big government,”
  • a geopolitical reset, designed to change world systems of government,
  • an environmental reset, based on the supposed threat of climate change and the continuing threat of pandemics,
  • an industry reset, which is a way of saying, “we are banning capitalism and free markets,” and, finally,
  • it outlines our coming mental health issues and well-being that will be affected as we cope with the shock of the destruction of our society through the Great Reset.

In the United States of America, we had individual rights that were free from an intrusive government. Those rights are gone. Instead, individual rights are being replaced by something called “social justice.” The concerns of interest groups now supersede the inherent rights of we individuals.

On NASA’s climate webpage there’s a section entitled “Scientific Consensus.” It says,”

“Multiple studies published in peer-reviewed scientific journals show that 97 percent or more of actively publishing climate scientists agree: Climate-warming trends over the past century are extremely likely due to human activities.” Many of the leading scientific organizations around the world endorse this position. https://climate.nasa.gov/scientific-consensus/

In 2003, Michal Crichton gave a lecture at the California Institute of Technology. During the lecture he said:

“I want to pause here and talk about this notion of consensus, and the rise of what has been called consensus science. I regard consensus science as an extremely pernicious development that ought to be stopped cold in its tracks. Historically, the claim of consensus has been the first refuge of scoundrels; it is a way to avoid debate by claiming that the matter is already settled. Whenever you hear the consensus of scientists agrees on something or other, reach for your wallet, because you’re being had.

Let’s be clear: the work of science has nothing whatever to do with consensus. Consensus is the business of politics. Science, on the contrary, requires only one investigator who happens to be right, which means that he or she has results that are verifiable by reference to the real world. In science consensus is irrelevant. What is relevant are reproducible results. The greatest scientists in history are great precisely because they broke with the consensus. There is no such thing as consensus science. If it’s consensus, it isn’t science. If it’s science, it isn’t consensus. Period.”

In conclusion, the main reason I don’t believe in climate change is that if things were as bad as scientists say, then every nation on earth would be taking drastic steps to make sure these catastrophic events don’t happen. But all anyone is doing is holding meetings and talking about it. It’s a bunch of rubbish, intended to put us at the mercy of “big government.”

  1. Hey Jeff, I keep asking this question and no one has yet to answer me, “What was the temperature of the earth before the flood of Noah’s day?” With all that water covering the earth, it stands to reason the earth would cool down, ice would form. Now with all that ice finally melting couldn’t the earth simply be getting back to its “normal” temperature? But what do I know?

  2. Great way of putting it, Jeff. Basic common sense is all that is required. All the gloom and doom is, as you noted, a way of keeping us subdued and buying all their BS. It seems like ALL politicians are trying to do these days is to keep people divided so they can increase their power hold on everyone and everything while they line their pockets. I think Trump is the only “politician” that actually LOST income by becoming president.

    1. Rich, you are absolutely right. Politicians care nothing about the issues people raise…only about making sure those people continue to vote for them. Look at the blacks. They’ve voted democratic for 50-60 years and nothing has changed for them. They still live in poverty, are surrounded by crime, are terribly undereducated, and have little hope of anything changing. Yet they continue to vote the same way. If the democratic party lost just 5% of the black vote, none of their candidates would ever get elected.

  3. Many thanks for your post. I consider climate change a Red Herring, distracting from the various evils in the world. Pollution and degradation of the environment are real issues which are man-made which the climate change agenda has tended to side line.

In any event as others say it is just an excuse to divide and rule and make money at the expense of the masses of the people.
