Very few things make me happier than seeing the look in Kathy’s eyes when she looks at her children and grandchildren. It’s pure joy. Unconditional love. She simply glows. I know that sounds weird but I have no other way to describe it.

Kathy has a great laugh. As I write this, she’s watching something on TV that’s making her laugh. It is such a pleasing sound to me. I smile when I hear her. I love it when she’s happy and smiling. We’ve been very blessed. Actually, she has been blessed and I’m sort of the beneficiary. I don’t think the blessings we’ve received have much to do with me. Anyway, we have two great kids, an amazing son-in-law and daughter-in-law, and six beautiful grandkids. Every time they come to our house, Kathy lights up. It makes me happy.
